Pinnint Inc. ("Pinnint", "we", "us", or "our") provides Cubit Insight, an AI agent platform for enterprise manufacturers. This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") explains how we collect, use, and share personal information when you visit our website at cubitinsight.com (the "Site") or use our products and services (together with the Site, the "Services").
1. Scope and our role
For most of the information described in this Policy, such as information about visitors to our Site, prospective customers, and account holders, we process personal information for our own purposes, and this Policy applies.
Our customers use the Services to process their own data ("Customer Content"). We process Customer Content on behalf of and at the direction of the customer, under the terms of our agreement with that customer (including any data processing addendum). If there is any conflict between this Policy and a customer agreement with respect to Customer Content, the customer agreement prevails. If your personal information is contained in a customer's Customer Content, please direct any questions or requests to that customer.
2. Information we collect
Information you provide. This includes your name, business email address, company, and job title; demo requests and other form submissions; account information; and the content of your communications with us.
Information collected automatically. When you use the Services, we and our service providers automatically collect usage data, such as pages viewed, actions taken, and the dates, times, and duration of visits, along with your IP address and information about your device and browser. Some of this information is collected using cookies and similar technologies (see Section 6).
Information from other sources. We may receive information about you and your company from other sources, such as publicly available business information and third-party data providers, and combine it with information we collect through the Services.
3. How we use information
We use the information we collect to:
- provide, operate, maintain, and secure the Services;
- respond to your inquiries and communicate with you;
- send marketing communications, which you can opt out of at any time;
- analyze usage and improve and develop the Services;
- comply with legal obligations; and
- protect the rights, safety, and property of Pinnint, our customers, and others, including preventing fraud and abuse.
4. Aggregated and de-identified data
We may aggregate or de-identify information so that it no longer identifies any individual or customer. We may use and disclose such data to analyze, improve, and develop our Services and technologies, including training and improving machine-learning models. We will not attempt to re-identify aggregated or de-identified data. Where such data is derived from Customer Content, its use remains subject to the applicable customer agreement.
5. How we share information
We do not sell personal information. We share personal information only:
- With service providers. Companies that perform services on our behalf under confidentiality obligations, in categories such as cloud hosting and infrastructure, analytics, communications and scheduling, and customer support tools.
- With affiliates and subsidiaries. Consistent with this Policy.
- In business transfers. In connection with a merger, acquisition, financing, or sale of all or part of our business or assets.
- For legal reasons. Where required by law, to respond to lawful requests from public authorities, or to protect the rights, safety, and property of Pinnint, our customers, or others.
- With your consent. For any other purpose disclosed to you, with your consent.
6. Cookies and analytics
We use essential cookies that are necessary for the Site to function, and analytics services that help us understand how the Services are used. Analytics providers may set their own cookies or use similar technologies. Most browsers allow you to control or delete cookies through their settings; disabling cookies may affect some features of the Site.
7. Security
We maintain an information security program with administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards appropriate to the nature of the data we process. Our program is informed by recognized industry frameworks, including SOC 2 and ISO/IEC 27001. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as needed for the purposes described in this Policy, including to comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Retention periods depend on the type of information, the purposes for which we use it, and applicable legal requirements.
9. International transfers
We are a company based in the United States, and personal information may be processed in the United States and in other locations where we or our service providers operate. Where we transfer personal information across borders, we take steps designed to ensure that it receives protection consistent with this Policy and applicable law.
10. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have rights regarding your personal information under applicable law, such as the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by using the unsubscribe link in the message or by contacting us.
If your personal information is contained in Customer Content, please direct your request to the relevant customer, as described in Section 1.
11. Notice to users in Japan
If you are in Japan, the following applies under the Act on the Protection of Personal Information of Japan (APPI). Pinnint Inc. is the business operator handling your personal information. The purposes of use of personal information are as described in Sections 3 and 4 of this Policy. We do not provide personal data to third parties without your prior consent, except in the cases described in Section 5 or as otherwise permitted under the APPI, such as where we entrust processing to service providers or where disclosure is required by law. 12. Children
The Services are intended for business users. They are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 16.
13. Changes to this Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will post the updated Policy on this page and revise the "Last updated" date above. If we make material changes, we will provide additional notice as appropriate.
